A guidebook on the religious sites in the six dzongkhags of Monggar, Trashi Yangtse, Bumthang, Lhuentse, Trongsa and Paro was launched today.
The book contains comprehensive information of over 400 sacred sites in these dzongkhags.
It was published to cover the religious sites that were left out in the earlier edition of the guidebook.
The book is expected to create awareness on the significance of the sacred sites.
Another book on the list of Bhutan’s Dzongs and Lhakhangs was also launched. There are 2,622 Lhakhangs including the Dzongs.
