Ensuring the safety of the frontliners, Sarpang

Winter chilli, Tsirang

The return from winter chilli has been encouraging for farmers of Sergithang Maed and Tashithang chiwogs under Sergithang Gewog in Tsirang in the last few years. Taking advantage of the past successes, more farmers from the two chiwogs are growing the winter chilli on expanded areas from this year. Owing to its potential for the winter chilli, Sergithang Gewog Agriculture Extension Office also started encouraging the winter chilli in some places in Noorbugang and Semdenjong chiwogs under the same gewog from this year.
