Alleged High Data Charges by BT not True. Free WIFI gets no answers.

Norbu Wangzom, Jomotshangka Martshala MP questioned  Minister for the Ministry of Information and Communication (MOIC) regarding the high deduction on data charges by Bhutan Telecom (BT). This was raised during the  NA question hour Session. She also raised the issue on the government’s pledge regarding the free WIFI.

72nd World Health Assembly underway in Geneva, Switzerland

A Bhutanese delegation led by Her Excellency Lyonpo Dechen Wangmo is currently attending the 72nd World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva, Switzerland. The annual global event that began on the 20th of May will go on till 28th May 2019. The theme for this year’s WHA is “Universal Health Coverage: Leaving no one behind”.

Over 2 million MT of boulders in stock as export business comes to halt in Gelegphu

The Natural Resources Development Corporation Limited (NRDCL) in Gelegphu has over more than 2 million metric tonnes (MT) of boulders in stock after the boulders business came to halt with strict enforcement of 15 MT load carrying capacity since April 25.
