The people of Thailand will bid final good bye to their beloved monarch, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, when the country holds the funeral of the late king on Thursday.

The Bhutan-Thailand bilateral relationship has entered its 28th year. Established in 1989, the relationship saw tremendous growth over the years with both countries, particularly Bhutan, benefiting from the various areas of cooperation between the two.  

The Department of Roads (DoR) in Trongsa and the contractor executing the blacktopping works of Korphu Gewog Centre (GC) road have signed one more commitment agreement to ensure works complete on time.

Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay said he will look into the possibility of blacktopping Na-Rang Gewog Centre (GC) road in Monggar and then discuss with the works and human settlement ministry.

A hut was gutted by a fire on Sunday night at Samtenling Zhicha of Chhummig Gewog in Bumthang. There were no casualties.
