Two injured after lightning strikes a house in Tsirang

A 22-year-old woman is in the National Referral Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit in Thimphu after lightning struck her house. The incident took place in Rangthangling Gewog under Tsirang, yesterday.

The Supreme Court passed the verdict on Sonam Phuntsho versus Tandin Bidha case, yesterday. The verdict has asked Tandin Bidha to pay Nu 18 M to Sonam Phuntsho within three months. If she fails to pay the amount, the verdict says, Sonam Phuntsho will have the right to take possession of half of the building owned by Tandin Bidha and her daughter Sonam Wangmo.
