His Majesty the King accompanied by Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen, visited Gaeddu College of Business Studies, yesterday. His Majesty granted audiences to the students and faculty of the college.

Water-borne diseases on decline in Bumthang

The number of water-related diseases, diarrhoea and dysentery, are on the decline in Bumthang, shows health records of the dzongkhag. The decline has been attributed to after the rural water supply and sanitation programme conducted by the district health.

Woman detained after her boyfriend was found dead

Tshimasham Police in Chhukha have detained a 37-year-old woman from Gaeddu after her boyfriend was found dead. The body of the 49-year-old man was recovered from the steps of a power colony building in Tshimalakha.
