Japanese government commit US$ 16 M

The Japanese government has committed US$ 16 M for reconstruction of three bridges along National Highway 1 in the country. To this effect, the exchange of notes was signed yesterday in New Delhi between Ambassador of Japan to Bhutan, Takeshi Yagi and Bhutan’s Ambassador to Japan, General Vestop Namgyel.

Inflation at 6.3 percent

After a continuous drop since September last year, Bhutan’s consumer inflation slightly increased to 6.3 percent in February, this year. In the previous month, inflation was recorded at 6.2 percent.

Gomphu Kora festival attracts record-breaking devotees from Arunachal Pradesh
