The Urban Planning Division of Thimphu Thromde is short-staffed. They have only five urban planners.Two Urban Planners quit last year in addition to another one who left this year.

A 43-year-old man succumbed to head injuries after he fell down from a high mound of silage in Balam under Monggar District. The incident happened yesterday afternoon as he was piling dried maize plant, say sources. The police say foul play has been ruled out. The deceased had also sustained broken ribs.
