The former National Council Member, Sonam Dorji, 40, secured 7,989 yes votes from Dagana. He obtained 1774 no votes. Sonam Dorji was nominated from Kana Gewog.

Kamal Bahadur Gurung, 45, secured 2,381 votes from Tsirang. He has pledged to work on some of the pressing issues that confront Bhutanese Society.

Jigme Wangchuk, 33, the former National Council representative of Samdrup Jongkhar obtained 5213 votes including postal ballot. He was nominated from Lauri Gewog. He has pledged to serve the people of the dzongkhag with utmost dedication and humbleness with the rule of law.

Former MP sweeps in Haa

The former MP, Tshering Dorji, 38, secured 1,630 votes from Haa. He was nominated from Bji Gewog. He also obtained 236 votes though postal ballot.

Rinzin Dorji secures maximum votes from Punakha

Rinzin Dorji, 48, who has been and educator for the past 22 years, obtained 3,449 votes. He was nominated from Toedwang Gewog.

An educationist secures maximum votes from Trashiyangtse

Tashi Phuntsho, 40, secured 3,226 votes from Trashiyangtse. He was nominated from Yalang Gewog. Tashi Phuntsho has worked with the Ministry of Education for 16 years as the Education Monitoring Officer, Principal, Vice-Principal and Teacher. He has M.Ed from the Paro College of Education and B.Ed from Samtse College of Education.

Tempa Dorji secures highest votes from Lhuentse

Tempa Dorji, 45, who has served in Bhutan Power Corporation for 21 years, secured 3193 votes including 581 postal ballot from Lhuentse. He was nominated from Jarey Gewog.

Former NC MP obtains the highest votes from Gasa

The former National Council representative, Sangay Khandu, 34, secured 565 votes through EVMs and 38 votes through postal ballot.
