Thimphu City Police have detained a 32-year-old man in connection with an embezzlement case.
After the presentation on the Sales Tax, Custom and Excise Act, it sparked deliberation in context to the rights in exercising the tax revision. While some members of the National Assembly argued that it is within their rights to revise the taxes, others said that the question is not about paying taxes but on the basis of tax revision.
