The India-Bhutan Foundation twenty20 cup 2017 started yesterday at the Pelkhil Oval in Thimphu.

Four Bhutanese Athletes competing at 9th WBPF Championships

The 9th World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships is underway in Ulaanbaatar, the Capital of Mongolia. Four athletes including one woman are representing Bhutan at the championship. Bhutan’s Damchoe Zam competed in the women’s model physique category today. She failed to reach to the top five.

A 63-year-old man’s love for archery

Age is just a number for 63-year-old Gyem Dorji from Paro who is taking part in the ongoing open Yangphel style archery tournament with other archers who are much younger than him.

2016 national tennis champion determined to defend his title

At just 15 years of age, Tenzin Singye Dorji was crowned the national tennis champion last year. He is determined to defend his title this year as well.  

Coronation archery tournament sees team from Soe and Naro Gewogs

The annual coronation archery tournament is underway in the capital. This year for the first time, amongst the 16 participating teams are team Highlander.

Transport United crowned National League Champions

After seven years without a national league title, Transport United was crowned the champions of the National League 2017, on Saturday. Transport United confirmed their championship win when they won at Ugyen Academy last month. In their final league match of the season, Transport United defeated Paro United 3 – 0, last Friday to cap off an undefeated season.

Nepal wins SAFF championship, Bhutan bags fair play award

Curtains were drawn on the 2017 SAFF under-18 championship yesterday at the Changlimithang when Nepal lifted the trophy. Bhutan did not leave the tournament empty handed as they were given the fair play award.
